I started this blog in preparation for my time serving on the Africa Mercy with an organization called Mercy Ships. Being accepted as part of the crew was a dream come true. In the first four months of 2019, I met and served with people from all over the world working toward a common goal of bringing hope and healing to the most vulnerable. And my heart grew… and broke… and danced.

But after building a friendship with some doctors still practicing in West Africa, I am planning to return in summer of 2022 as the Nursing Director for a new pediatric hospital. How God brought this together is exciting and wild and I’m so grateful that I get to share.
